Growing up with a passion for the industry, Jenna considers her first clients to be her barbie dolls as a child when she could steal the scissors from the kitchen. Being thrown into a theatrical environment of dance and acting at the age of 3, Jenna couldn't help but be inspired by the hair and makeup and grow that passion into a career. AS president of her theater department Jenna got a hands on first look at styling and creating desired looks. Jenna went from giving girls haircuts in the bathroom after school to building her career at a well known salon in Boston, MA. During her three and a half years in Boston, Jenna built up a loyal clientele as well as expanding herself in the industry by breaking into the fashion world. Jenna helped style as well as walk in the Boston Fashion week, Style week, and work on other projects such as film, print, and events. She also ran her own freelance wedding business. Moving forward Jenna made a change of scenery by moving to the west coast and in eager and determined to see what is in store for her next.

I acquired my training at several locations, including : The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology (Paul Mitchell cutting and color techniques), Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, Ca (6 week comprehensive cutting course), Bumble & Bumble University in New York (Network Educator and styling class), Locks and Keratip Hair Extensions, Keratin Smoothing Treatment certified and many MAC PRO makeup classes (including training classes with Victor C., one of MAC's professional makeup artists.) I maintain my education by seeking practice in current trends and keeping an open mind."  Some of my experiences include : Photo shoots with Push Studios in S.F., makeup and hair team for the crazy Exotic Erotic Ball, and being back stage and many fashion shows. I have also been very fortunate to do hair touchups and makeup for the ABC show "The Evidence". Being surrounded by a creative, innovative, driven team truly inspires me as well. I love to create beautiful hair and teach my clients how to maintain it.

Hey guys Mia here! I'm excited to share that I have had the privilege of learning from some of the best educators at Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco. I'm furthering my education here at the MadHouse attending not only demos but also hands on classes along side my mentor, Daniela Serpa. Hair was a big security blanket for me when I was younger, always keeping it in a sleek ponytail, and I mean always. You can say my confidence lacked a little bit but I broke out of that shell once I was able to express myself through my hair. That's where my first stylist came into my life and changed my perspective of myself. Leaving that salon always put a smile on my face and gave me a big confidence boost. That is a big part of why I chose to further educate myself on the history of hair. I want to pass on that same feeling to every guest I have sit in my chair, I want to enhance you're beauty and give you the same warm tingling feeling I always had leaving the salon
